Mairéad Gallagher

Mairéad has always loved singing and has been a member of many choirs since childhood. She completed a B.A. in Music and English in U.C.C., followed by a Bachelor of Music degree and a Higher Diploma in Education. She currently sings with the Fleischmann Choir in Cork city. She first experienced Music Together^® as a parent attending a term with her daughter while living in California. She loved the classes so much she subsequently completed Music Together's teacher training course and brought the first Music Together centre in Ireland to families in the Bandon area. Classes have been running since January 2006.

Mairéad is passionate about music and the musical development of children. Her Wriggletto classes create a fun, informal social setting that spurs engagement of both adults and children and that supports each child's musical development.
